Contact Person: Mary Beth Myers
In 1993 at a retreat of the Mary Martha Circle of the United Methodist Women, the need for a woman's bible study group was discussed. Twelve woman decided to meet every other week, but very quickly knew they wanted to meet every week.
Meeting in homes for a couple of years, they finally settled on the Church Library on Tuesday mornings. Mostly referred to as the Tuesday Morning Bible Study Group, one of our pastors wanted them to have a "name" and they chose Talmidin, Hebrew for Disciples.
The Bible is the textbook and using video and occasionally books by Christian authors constitutes the study. A group of women who have come to have a more personal relationship with God and in fellowship support our church and each other.
For those who are interested in a God centered Bible study, join them on Tuesday morning at 9:30 am for fellowship and at 10:00 am the study begins. Mary Beth Myers is the leader and they welcome all who want to join in worshiping the Almighty who is, who was, and who is to come.
